January 2, one of our vessels, the Nordic Nelly, was arriving to Skelleftehamn in the North Eastern part of Sweden, when the pilot boat experienced an engine failure. Even though the 5,767 mt stainless steel tanker was at open sea with a fresh wind and moderate swell, the Captain and his crew managed to manoeuvre alongside the pilot boat, taking the pilot and then towing the pilot boat back in to port.

The pilots were very grateful for the resourceful crew, who showed excellent seamanship. We are also proud of the crew onboard the Nordic Nelly, who truly lived up to our values of team spirit and can-do attitude.
